Senior Graphic & Merch Designer

We are looking for a highly creative, detail-oriented, and proactive Senior Graphic & Merch Designer. This is a full-time role designed for someone who can manage multiple moving parts across various apparel design projects, Shopify storefronts, and digital brand assets. You will be responsible for ensuring visual trends remain fresh and efficient across all professional engagements. The ideal candidate is a high-level visual strategist who can effectively align with a team’s thinking, beliefs, and community connection.

Key Responsibilities

• Merchandise Design: Oversee and coordinate the creation of fresh, trend-setting apparel and merchandise (e.g., BYU shirts) across multiple business ventures.
• Shopify Management: Assist in the organization, tracking, and execution of website updates and product launches within the Shopify ecosystem.
• Strategic Alignment: Ensure all design decisions and product layouts reflect the core values, current market trends, and unique perspective of the leadership.
• Complex Coordination: Manage a busy production calendar and diverse portfolio of brands, keeping track of deadlines and "lots of moving parts" in a fast-paced environment.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external partners regarding visual standards, maintaining the organization’s voice.
• Design Excellence: Provide high-level creative support to ensure leadership can focus on high-impact ventures while you handle the visual and technical complexity of the shop.

Qualifications

• Communication Skills: Exceptional English verbal and written skills are mandatory to manage high-level communication and creative correspondence.
• Design Expertise: Proven experience in apparel design, merchandise production, and executive-level digital logistics.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Shopify and all current industry-standard design programs (Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) to produce modern, on-trend looks.
• Soft Skills: Extreme maturity and problem-solving skills; ability to stay calm and produce quickly in a high-energy, "busy" environment without hand-holding.
• Work Style: Ability to work independently while staying perfectly aligned with the team's vision and fast-paced schedule.
