About The Role
The Medicaid Enrollment Specialist plays a vital role within our organization by facilitating the enrollment of eligible hospital patients into the Third Party Health Insurance Premium Payment Program (HIPP). This position is based at our partner hospital in Manhattan and involves direct interaction with patients, hospital staff, and community partners. The primary responsibility is to clearly communicate program requirements, assist patients in navigating the enrollment process, and serve as a dedicated patient advocate.
