Hand-Drawn 2D Animator

This role is ideal for a talented 2D animator passionate about hand-drawn animation and visual storytelling. You will be responsible for creating a captivating, non-lyrical music video in a style reminiscent of classic Winnie the Pooh animations. The project requires a creative approach to narrative and character animation, ensuring the visuals enhance the musical experience. The position is fully remote, but applicants must be located within the United States.

Deliverables

• Develop and produce a complete hand-drawn 2D animated music video
• Collaborate closely with the project team to align animation style and narrative with the music and project vision
• Create engaging character animations and backgrounds that evoke the charm and warmth of classic animation styles
• Deliver high-quality animation assets within agreed timelines and project milestones
• Incorporate feedback and revisions as needed to achieve the desired artistic outcome

Requirements

• Proven experience in 2D hand-drawn animation, with a strong portfolio demonstrating relevant work
• Proficiency in industry-standard animation software (e.g., Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Animate, TVPaint, or similar)
• Strong storytelling skills and ability to convey emotion and narrative visually without dialogue
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in style and quality throughout the project
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting
