Job Description

We’re a B2B design agency working with clients across the UK, the US, and Europe. Our projects span a wide range of sectors, including health, sustainability, research, technology, defence, recruitment, finance, government, NGOs, philanthropy, to name a few.

What we do

We work across branding and identity, design, marketing communications and storytelling, video editing, 2D and 3D animation — all in service of solving complex communication problems for our clients.

Our team & culture

  • We’re a close-knit team of 10, including designers, developers, operations, and our Creative Director.
  • We’re primarily based in our South London office (Clapham Common) we work as a team from our offices, but depending on the role, and level of experience we offer some flexibility for occasional remote work
  • We understand that life sometimes requires adjustments for appointments, travel, or personal commitments, and we also aim to be as flexible as possible.
  • We operate a very flat structure to enable people to flourish. We have established processes that guide our operation and workflows.
  • We prioritise critical and creative thinking, open communication, and diversity of thought and approach in our work.
  • We offer 25 days of annual leave, plus UK Bank Holidays, with the option to carry over up to 3 days into the following year.
  • At Together, our team includes people from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. Different perspectives bring more ideas and opinions to the table, which is essential for the creative, impactful work we do. We encourage open and free discussion where every voice is valued.

Our starting expectations

You’ll be able to demonstrate you:

Use professional software:

  • Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Figma
  • PowerPoint

Nice to have:

  • Adobe After Effects, Premier, Capcut, Blender
  • Proficiency in Excel

What you’ll be doing?

The work you will do will be varied. The role suits graphic and visual, digital and brand designers who wish to remain generalists or who have not yet decided which type of design work most excites them. Your workload might include:

  • Content generation and ideation
  • Conducting research for projects
  • Presentation design
  • Reports, typographic & editorial design
  • Information graphics
  • Branding & identity design
  • Designs for web and software
  • UX design and system flows
  • Using AI for image, video and UI generation
  • 3D and 2D animation
  • Contributing to our self-funded projects, internal research and development

Things you'll develop here

  • Becoming a high quality designer
  • Building client relationships
  • Commercial acumen, costing projects and managing budgets
  • Running live projects
  • Managing your time and that of others

Why might this job be good for you?

  • The benefit of a small agency is that you can learn directly from owner and creative director and senior team
  • If you want to broaden your skillset and grow as a multi-disciplinary designer and communicator
  • If you value the business and delivery of design as much as you do the nurturing of your craft
  • Most of our clients deliver services to other businesses. The work they do is often nuanced, complex in nature, and requires a high degree of mental investment, engagement and dedication to properly understand it before you begin to bring your design and communication skills to bear to help them achieve their business objectives. At Together, your design work won’t be driven by trends or market visibility. You won’t often be asked to create promotional material for our own marketing. Instead, our projects tackle real-world challenges and help clients deliver solutions that try to make a difference.

Are we a good match?

This role would suit you if...

  • If your focus is well balanced between content and aesthetics and you approach those two in that order
  • If you feel comfortable discussing, presenting and pitching ideas and concepts in large groups
  • If you’re articulate, able to demonstrate and provide reasoned rational for your ideas and designs and those of other teammates
  • If you have a high attention to detail, good memory, and an ability to assimilate information quickly.
  • If you have an intellectual curiosity and a hunger for knowledge
  • If you enjoy your assumptions being challenged
