We’re looking for a hands-on, highly skilled Epic Client Systems Administrator (ECSA) to support and strengthen a large enterprise Epic environment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in Epic client systems operations, enjoys solving complex technical problems, and leverages automation to make systems more reliable and efficient.
This is a full-time, fully remote opportunity supporting a major U.S. health system.
🌟 What You’ll Do
Epic Client Systems Administration (Primary Focus)
- Provide operational support across DEV/TST/PRD Epic client system environments
- Manage and troubleshoot Epic web, application, and service servers (IIS, services, tasks, configs)
- Support Epic SUs, upgrades, patching, reboots, and baseline compliance
- Manage SSL/TLS certificates, bindings, trust chains
- Partner with Network, Security, Citrix/EUC, and DB teams
- Participate in incident response, RCA, and ongoing system stability efforts
MyChart Technical Exposure (Secondary Focus)
- Support MyChart from a platform/infrastructure perspective
- Collaborate with MyChart app teams for deployments, upgrades, and environment readiness
- Assist with cutovers, validation, and troubleshooting

Automation & Engineering Enablement
- Build and maintain PowerShell scripts for:
- ✅ Server/environment health checks
- ✅ Deployment/upgrade validation
- ✅ Certificate tracking & inventory
- ✅ Post-patch assessments
- Reduce manual work by standardizing automation-backed runbooks
Change Management & Documentation
- Participate in ServiceNow change processes
- Support major Epic upgrades/migrations and infrastructure refreshes
- Maintain technical documentation, KBs, and operational standards
✅ Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in Epic Client Systems Administration or Epic technical infrastructure
- Strong Windows Server & IIS expertise
- Experience supporting Epic client system components
- Certificate management experience (enterprise-level)
- PowerShell scripting/automation background
- Technical understanding of MyChart deployment & platform dependencies
- Experience with enterprise change/incident management (ServiceNow)
- Ability to operate independently in a fully remote environment

Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
