As a Cloud Engineer at Fedstack, you will work on advanced cloud environments that safeguard sensitive data and enhance digital trust across the country. You will be part of a dynamic team supporting large-scale data platforms involved in detecting fraud, protecting information, and ensuring system reliability. The position begins with comprehensive, instructor-led training designed to prepare you for high-impact engineering roles in enterprise-grade cloud environments. After training, you will be placed with leading organizations across mission-critical sectors, contributing directly to systems that operate at national scale. Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- U.S. citizenship is required due to client eligibility requirements, including the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Willingness to work in a hybrid environment, with up to three days onsite, and reside within commuting distance of the assigned client location.
- A bachelor's degree or equivalent project-based experience demonstrating relevant skills and knowledge.
- Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language, such as Python, Java, or Bash.
- Basic understanding of cloud platform fundamentals, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills to collaborate within cross-functional teams.

The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Participating in immersive, instructor-led training sessions lasting 10 to 12 weeks to develop foundational cloud engineering skills.
- Supporting the deployment, management, and optimization of cloud-based systems that handle sensitive data and ensure system security and reliability.
- Assisting in the development and automation of cloud infrastructure using scripting and programming languages.
- Collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Contributing to the design and implementation of scalable, secure cloud solutions aligned with mission requirements.
- Engaging in continuous learning and professional development, including industry certifications to enhance technical expertise.
- Supporting client projects by applying best practices in cloud security, compliance, and performance tuning.
