Job Description
We provide organizations with invaluable foresight, empowering them to anticipate outcomes and proactively make the right decisions at the right time, every time.
We're a small, dedicated, mission-driven team and we intend to stay that way. We believe the best work happens when exceptionally talented people are given ownership, trust and the space to operate without bureaucratic friction. We work with urgency and intellectual honesty and expect new team members to match our velocity. We seek individuals who thrive at the frontier, who push beyond conventional limits, who bring curiosity and conviction in equal measure, and who want their work to have demonstrable impact in the world. If you're energized by the idea of a small team doing things that feel impossible, let’s build together.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Reporting Engineer, you'll turn raw simulation results into the insights our customers depend on. The Reporting team owns the full pipeline from simulation output to customer-facing deliverables — executive summaries, strategic insights, comparison reports, data visualizations, and highlights. You'll work on building a flexible, extensible reporting system that can surface insights from any part of our simulation engine, while delivering beautiful, accurate analyses at speed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design and build the reporting backend that transforms simulation results into structured, customer-ready deliverables (executive summaries, strategic insights, comparison reports)
- Develop the analysis layer that extracts statistically grounded insights from simulation data — identifying significant relationships, effect sizes, and actionable takeaways
- Build a flexible system where any simulation output can be made reportable, enabling the team to ship new report types without re-engineering the backend
- Optimize query performance against analytical databases to deliver real-time insights on large simulation datasets
- Collaborate with design and product to build digital results experiences including highlights, tabbed reports, and data/results pages
- Work with the deployment team to ensure reports meet customer-specific requirements around formatting, labeling, and focus areas

- You have strong full-stack skills, comfortable working across backend data pipelines and frontend presentation layers
- You're comfortable with statistical concepts and can reason about significance, confidence intervals, and effect sizes
