Job Description

Join OnlineDoctor: We're Expanding!

We are a fast-growing telemedicine startup focused on improving access to dermatological care. Our platform uses cutting-edge technology to connect patients with dermatologists, enabling them to take pictures of their skin issues and receive diagnoses and treatment plans remotely and asynchronously.

We are looking for a Product Owner to join our team as soon as possible. In this role, you will work closely with our engineering team and leadership to support effective and collaborative product development.

In this role, you will help translate product strategy into clear priorities, structure stakeholder input, and create the conditions for the team to work efficiently and make meaningful product contributions.

Our engineering team is highly motivated, collaborative, and enjoys taking initiative in shaping the product. Your role will be to provide clarity around priorities, maintain alignment with the roadmap, and ensure that ideas and requests from across the organization are thoughtfully evaluated and integrated.

You will act as a key interface between stakeholders and the product development team, helping facilitate productive discussions, aligning priorities, and supporting data-informed decision-making.

Working closely with the Chief Product Officer, you will manage the product backlog, support cross-team communication, and help ensure that the team can focus on the most impactful opportunities while maintaining a clear connection between strategy, user needs, and execution.

What you'll do:

  • Translate roadmap initiatives into clear, actionable product increments
  • Own and continuously refine the product backlog in line with product strategy, user value, and business impact
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and stakeholders to shape solutions and clarify requirements
  • Incorporate user feedback and data insights into product improvements
  • Facilitate discussions around scope, trade-offs, and implementation approaches
  • Track product outcomes to ensure features deliver meaningful impact
  • Reduce ambiguity and help unblock progress where needed

What you bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Product Owner or Product Manager role within digital product environments
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Strong prioritization, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to structure complex topics, facilitate discussions, and drive clarity in ambiguous situations
  • A data-driven and pragmatic mindset with the ability to balance user needs, technical feasibility, and business priorities
  • Strong command of German, both written and spoken
  • Good data analysis skills is a plus
  • Experience in healthtech, digital health, or other regulated environments is a plus

What we offer:

  • Flexibility: You decide if you want to work remote or if you prefer to visit one of our Offices (Hamburg, St. Gallen, Zürich). We offer you a flexible schedule and a working time model that suits you.
  • Learning culture: We offer a steep learning curve in your day-to-day work and support your development through regular retrospectives and inspiration sessions. In addition, you will have access to a training budget that you can use flexibly. We are open to your ideas and happy to support you in implementing them.
  • Team events: Skiing in Switzerland, white water rafting in Vienna - we regularly get together with our entire team and thus increase our teamwork.
  • Fair salary: An attractive salary is a matter of course for us.
  • Additional benefits: Free choice of laptop, home office allowance, additional vacation day, etc.
  • Our Values: Respect and tolerance are part of our DNA. We actively support diversity and inclusion, believing they are the keys to a successful and healthy company culture.

Work Location & Relocation:
