Lead Python Developer - Data-Driven Solutions

Contract: 12 months (subject to extension).

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Your Profile & DNA:

We are looking for a talented Python Developer to build and support data-driven solutions with a focus on risk and data management. You will work on developing robust Python applications, handling large datasets, and supporting credit risk models and data processes in a collaborative environment.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Python
• Work with data using SQL and Python libraries (NumPy, Pandas)

• Support implementation of credit risk models (PD, EAD, LGD, RAROC)
• Apply software engineering best practices and design principles
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code
• Ensure code quality through testing and CI/CD practices

Qualification & Experience

• A Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent.
• Strong experience with Python (OOP, data structures, design principles)
• Hands-on experience with NumPy, Pandas
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience with testing frameworks (PyTest, TDD/BDD)
