A Day in the Life of the Business Intelligence Engineer
In this role, you’ll partner closely with business stakeholders and data teams to design and deliver scalable reporting solutions. You’ll transform raw data into clear, actionable insights through dashboards and visualizations that support strategic decision-making. Your work will directly contribute to improving data quality, accessibility, and business performance across global operations.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaborate with end users to gather and define business requirements
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data models for reporting and analytics
- Develop and manage dashboards and reports using Tableau Cloud
- Ensure data accuracy through ongoing auditing, validation, and quality checks
- Translate complex datasets into clear visualizations and business insights
- Train users on dashboard functionality and reporting tools
- Work with data warehouse teams to integrate and optimize data sources
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends and opportunities
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders effectively

Requirements and Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, reporting, or data analytics
- Strong proficiency in Tableau, building out and maintaining production dashboards, published datasets, and designing or owning data models
- Experience validating data accuracy and troubleshooting discrepancies reported by business users
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Business-level English proficiency (written and verbal)
