About The Role

The Sr. SEO Analyst position is a remote, contract-based role designed for an experienced SEO professional eager to drive impactful search engine optimization strategies for multiple client domains, subdomains, and mobile applications. This role offers a one-year initial contract with a strong possibility of extension, providing an excellent opportunity for long-term engagement. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, executing, and continuously optimizing SEO initiatives that enhance organic search visibility, improve rankings, and increase traffic. Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams including IT, digital analytics, creative media, and web operations, the Sr. SEO Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring SEO best practices are integrated into the web development lifecycle, troubleshooting technical issues, and analyzing performance metrics to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of hands-on SEO experience, particularly in managing enterprise-level SEO strategies for complex brands. A strong background in technical SEO, content optimization, and data analysis is essential. Candidates should possess at least 2 years of experience managing SEO at an enterprise level, with proficiency in SQL and big data mining. Certification in SEO or related fields is a plus. Experience with website migrations, large-scale redesigns, and multi-location SEO efforts is highly desirable. Familiarity with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and Adobe Analytics is required. The candidate should have a solid understanding of HTML/CSS, CMS platforms like Sitecore and WordPress, and be comfortable working with analytics and reporting platforms. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field is required, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.

Responsibilities

Additionally, the role involves supporting backlinking strategies, conducting technical audits, and producing functional requirements for onsite search enhancements. Collaboration with digital analytics, creative media, web operations, and other teams is essential to establish standards, taxonomy, and best practices that enhance search relevance and user experience. The role also encompasses supporting local SEO efforts, managing Google Business Profiles, and ensuring SEO continuity during website migrations or redesigns.
