The role

As a Technical Director within our Commerce and Experience (XC) service line, you will serve as a strategic technology leader, driving architecture, delivery excellence, and innovation across complex, multi-region client engagements. You will be instrumental in shaping scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions that align with business goals and emerging technology trends. This role is ideal for a technologist who thrives at the intersection of enterprise architecture, delivery leadership, and client engagement—and who is passionate about mentoring teams and influencing global technology strategy

Role Responsibilities

Technology Strategy & Architecture

  • Lead the design and validation of enterprise-grade architectures across cloud, digital platforms, and AI-enabled ecosystems. - Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, ensuring alignment with client goals and industry best practices. - Serve as the final authority on technical feasibility, scalability, and integration strategy.

Delivery Leadership

  • Oversee technical delivery across global, cross-functional teams, ensuring quality, performance, and client satisfaction. - Establish governance frameworks, risk mitigation strategies, and delivery KPIs. - Act as a technical escalation point and unblock delivery teams when needed.

Client & Partner Engagement

  • Collaborate with client stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable technical roadmaps. - Support pre-sales and solutioning efforts, including estimation, architecture design, and proposal development. - Build and maintain relationships with strategic technology partners and platform vendors.

Practice Development & Talent Growth

  • Mentor and coach technical leads, architects, and engineers across regions. - Drive certification programs, learning plans, and career development initiatives. - Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, case studies, and reusable solution assets.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Utilization Optimization: Maintain or improve team utilization rates across engagements.\
  • Certification Growth: Increase the number of team certifications in priority technologies (e.g., cloud, AI, DevOps) by X% annually.
  • Solution Quality: Ensure architectural integrity, scalability, and maintainability across all delivered solutions.
  • Individual Billability: Maintain a minimum of 60% individual billable utilization.
  • Sales Pipeline Contribution: Actively participate in pursuits contributing to at least $5M in unweighted pipeline annually.

Must Have Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise technology leadership, preferably within a consulting or systems integration environment.
  • Proven expertise in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP), enterprise architecture, and modern application development.
  • Strong understanding of AI/ML integration, DevOps, and platform engineering.
  • Experience leading distributed teams and managing multi-million-dollar engagements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with React, Node.js and .Net Stacks
  • Advenced French speaking skills.

Nice To Have Qualifications

  • TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP Architect, SAFe, PMP, or equivalent.
