What role you will play in Team:

We are seeking a highly skilled Guidewire PolicyCenter Senior Developer with strong cloud implementation experience to join our dynamic insurance technology team. You will lead the design, development, and integration of PolicyCenter solutions on modern cloud platforms while ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability of our core systems.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design, develop, and implement Guidewire PolicyCenter configurations, integrations, and customizations.

● Lead end-to-end delivery of PolicyCenter cloud implementations (preferably Guidewire Cloud Platform – GCP or AWS).

● Collaborate with solution architects and business analysts to translate requirements into efficient technical solutions.

● Optimize performance and ensure best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.

● Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure alignment with architectural guidelines.

● Integrate PolicyCenter with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs, messaging, and middleware.

● Troubleshoot production issues and implement continuous improvement processes.

● Stay current with the Guidewire suite’s updates, cloud capabilities, and DevOps tools.

Qualifications and Experience:

● 7+ years of experience in Guidewire development, including at least 3 years with PolicyCenter.

● Proven experience with Guidewire Cloud implementation or migration projects.

● Strong knowledge of Java, Gosu, and Guidewire integration frameworks.

● Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).

● Understanding of insurance domain processes, especially Policy Administration and Underwriting.

● Experience with microservices, REST APIs, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)is a plus.

● Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Certifications:

● Guidewire Certified PolicyCenter Developer or Cloud Implementation Specialist

● AWS/Azure/GCP Cloud Certification (Associate level or higher)
