Performance Marketing Specialist

Job Requirements

Sweetwater, the nation's number one online retailer of music instruments and pro audio gear, is seeking a Performance Marketing Specialist to support the continued growth of our Marketing team. Reporting to the Director of Performance Marketing, this role will be responsible for assisting in the optimization and growth of digital marketing campaigns within multiple channels including but not limited to paid social, display, and SEM.

In this role, you will work alongside our team to research and understand our brand and partner brands, discover insights into our audiences, and leverage those learnings to develop compelling media campaigns. Responsibilities include data analysis and reporting, performing and monitoring tests, identifying growth opportunities, and day to day account execution. A positive attitude, and the ability to proactively work with multiple internal teams will be essential. 

This role requires a strong aptitude towards strategic thinking, interest in music gear, as well as strong attention to detail. A successful candidate will be a highly organized self-starter with the desire to dive into advertising, ad technology, and design.

Job Responsibilities

• Meet with stakeholders to discuss goals for a given marketing effort.
• Monitor and manage the progress of marketing assets throughout the development cycle.
• Setup campaigns in paid marketing channels, track results of digital marketing efforts, gather performance insights and generate regular reporting.

• Recommend refinements and optimizations to future marketing strategies.
• Support other Performance Marketing Strategists in day-to-day organization and marketing efforts
  
  

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience with major paid media platforms, including Google Ads and Meta Ads is preferred
• Familiarity and experience in paid search is a plus
