Job Description

We are looking for a Director of Product Management who is part visionary strategist and part hands-on builder. You will lead our transition into a Product-Led Growth (PLG) organization, mentoring a team that is eager but new to the framework, while simultaneously acting as a "Player-Coach" across our portfolio.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will oversee the product roadmap, delivery, and performance for our entire portfolio. You are the bridge between executive vision and technical execution. You and the Senior Product Manager you manage, will ensure that our apps aren't just maintained, but are aggressively optimized for the next generation of users. You own the North Star metrics: User Engagement, Retention, and In-App Revenue targets.

Employment Type

This is a full-time independent contractor position. We are not currently hiring for direct employee positions.

Location

This is a fully remote position. Work where you perform your best.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evangelize and implement Product-Led Growth methodologies to drive retention, upsell, and organic acquisition
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle from discovery to delivery, ensuring we are focused on the highest-leverage opportunities
  • Direct the roadmap across our diverse product portfolio, balancing legacy community needs with high-growth utility features
  • Directly manage and mentor our Product Management team, fostering a culture of data-driven excellence
  • Serve as a dedicated Product Owner for a product delivery squad, writing PRDs and user stories, managing the backlog, and working daily with engineers that ship
  • Partner with leadership as part of our M&A team, assisting with "Product Due Diligence" for new acquisitions, identifying growth levers and integration paths
  • Partner with Engineering and Design to maintain a relentless pace of iteration and high-quality updates

Requirements

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or analytical field (Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or Business Analytics) or equivalent professional experience
  • 10+ years of professional experience in Product Management, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role focused within the B2C mobile space
  • Deep experience with mobile metrics (LTV/CAC, ARPU, Churn) and a track record of making decisions based on data rather than intuition
  • A proven history of hitting engagement and revenue targets while managing the math of a subscription-based business
  • A bias for action that moves beyond ideation into high-velocity product delivery, supported by expert-level mastery of Agile methodologies and modern product management tools
  • A rigorous, analytical mindset that prioritizes evidence-based strategies over "gut" decisions to drive retention, LTV, and organic growth
  • A natural inclination for teaching and the ability to guide a team through a PLG transition with patience and clarity
  • The ability to thrive in an environment of extreme autonomy, identifying the biggest levers for growth without waiting for a list of tasks
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between high-level vision and granular technical execution

Nice To Have (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Prior experience in an environment that scales through acquisition (Private Equity, Venture Capital, or a high-volume Parent/Holding company)
  • Specific experience in any of our core pillars: Social/Video, VoIP/Communication, or AI-driven productivity
  • Mastery of Jira Product Discovery to bridge the gap between high-level roadmapping and execution-level tickets
  • Experience navigating the nuances of a 100% decentralized, asynchronous global workforce
