Job Title: Principle Network Engineer Location: Dallas, TX (100% Remote) Position Type: Contract Openings: 1 Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer to lead the technical execution of a large-scale data center migration project. The role involves managing the end-to-end lifecycle of approximately 1,500 routers and 1,500 Cradlepoint devices, including staging, configuration, VPN migration, NAT transitions, and failover validation. Key Responsibilities
- Review and design go-forward WAN architectures based on client requirements
- Perform remote configuration and migration of VPNs, NAT spaces, and firewall policies
- Oversee staging, SIM activation, firmware upgrades, and base configurations of routers and Cradlepoint devices
- Lead pilot implementations and support cutovers during maintenance windows
- Conduct failover testing, device health checks, and troubleshooting during migration

- Advanced experience with Cisco and Juniper routing & switching
- Strong expertise in large-scale VPN migrations and tunneling

- Experience with Change Management (CAB), MOP documentation, and network monitoring tools
