Job Title : Director of Strategic Workforce Planning

Our Client is seeking a dynamic Director of Strategic Workforce Planning to lead the design and execution of enterprise-wide, future-focused talent strategies that directly support long-term business goals. In this highly influential role, you will shape the organization’s workforce of the future by connecting talent, technology, and business strategy. You’ll oversee a team of workforce planning experts, champion data-driven decision-making, and partner with senior leaders across HR, Technology, Finance, and Operations to embed a mature, scalable workforce planning capability.


This role offers a flexible hybrid work environment with four days per week onsite. Relocation assistance is available. Multiple office locations are available (San Antonio, TX, Plano, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Colorado Springs, CO, Charlotte, NC, Chesapeake, VA or Tampa, FL)


What You’ll Lead

  • Build and develop a high-performing workforce planning team.
  • Establish standardized tools, frameworks, and methodologies to drive consistency and scalability.
  • Design and execute long-term and short-term workforce strategies aligned with enterprise goals and transformation initiatives.

What You’ll Drive

  • Develop integrated workforce plans with clear strategic, operational, and financial objectives.
  • Use advanced analytics and predictive modeling to surface emerging trends and workforce risks.
  • Create optimized staffing models blending human talent, AI, and automation.
  • Partner with Technology and Operations to align workforce capabilities with digital transformation.

How You’ll Partner

  • Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, Technology, Operations, and business leaders to influence talent decisions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership through data-driven insights.
  • Integrate workforce planning with key functions including HR, Finance, Real Estate/Workplace, Risk, and Enterprise Planning.

How You’ll Elevate Capability

  • Act as an internal consultant, co-creating workforce strategies that enhance agility and growth.
  • Facilitate strategic planning workshops and capability assessments.
  • Train HR business partners and leaders on best practices and frameworks to build enterprise-wide planning capability.


What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8+ years in workforce planning, forecasting, or HR analytics, including leadership experience.
  • 3+ years leading high-performing teams.
  • Proven success developing multi-year workforce strategies and forecasts.
  • Strong business acumen and an ability to anticipate future skill needs.
  • Exceptional analytical, communication, and critical thinking skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in financial services, insurance, or related industries.
  • Background in call center or sales workforce environments.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle.
  • Experience with design thinking or agile methodologies.
  • Expertise in human + AI workforce integration strategies.
