You’ll take ownership of end-to-end SEO initiatives—from audits and strategy to execution and reporting—while staying ahead of industry trends, including AI-driven search.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct comprehensive SEO audits to identify issues and opportunities, and develop actionable improvement plans
- Perform keyword research and build content strategies based on search intent, competition, and SERP behavior
- Implement on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, headers, internal linking, content optimization)
- Manage technical SEO initiatives, including site speed, structured data, schema markup, XML sitemaps, redirects, crawlability, and indexing
- Develop and execute local SEO strategies (Google Business Profile optimization, citations, NAP consistency, location pages)
- Plan and execute link-building campaigns, including outreach and backlink analysis
- Create or optimize SEO content such as blog posts, landing pages, and service pages
- Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Gemini) to enhance SEO workflows (content ideation, clustering, audits)
- Monitor and analyze performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Semrush, or Ahrefs
- Report on SEO performance and collaborate with internal stakeholders as needed
- Stay up to date with search engine algorithm updates, AI search trends, and emerging SEO practices
- Optimize content and strategies for AI-powered search platforms (e.g., ChatGPT, Perplexity)

- 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience with proven results (traffic growth, rankings, lead generation)

- Experience with local SEO strategies and tools (Google Business Profile, citations, map rankings)
