Hiring: CTO / Director of AI – Build the Firm’s Next-Generation AI Trading Agent Platform
We are seeking a senior technology leader to drive the development of an end‑to‑end AI Trading Agent Platform—an intelligence layer designed to enhance investment decision‑making, improve PM productivity, and enable long‑term scalability of the firm’s investment processes. This is a high‑impact leadership role with a pathway to CTO.
Role Overview
The successful candidate will:
- Lead the architecture and build‑out of a fully integrated AI trading agent platform (not a traditional research system).
- Partner closely with Portfolio Managers to iterate on strategy, workflow, and execution.
- Strengthen investment efficiency by translating investment problems into robust technical solutions.
- Own the overall technology and product roadmap and build a high‑performing engineering team over time.

Team and Platform Context
The firm operates a multi‑PM platform with a solid foundation and a mandate to scale its agent‑driven investment infrastructure. The next stage requires strong ownership, long‑term product vision, and the ability to build a persistent intelligence system that retains knowledge and evolves even as PM teams change.
Talent pools in Asia are limited, so this search includes global markets, particularly the Bay Area, with relocation support.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Director / Head‑of / CTO‑track seniority.
- Strong AI‑native experience, including LLMs, agent architectures, and automation.
- Excellent engineering capability: both hands‑on and architectural.
- Background in Big Tech, AI startups, quant/hedge funds, or trading environments.
- Overseas exposure preferred; open to relocation.
- High learning agility, strong ownership mindset, and the ability to collaborate with PMs as a strategic partner.
- Capable of team building and long‑term platform leadership.
