Job Description

In this role, your focus is on the hull design of Superyachts. You will work closely with structural and outfitting engineers to deliver production-ready designs that meet shipyard and class requirements. Your work will have a direct impact on the build process, making this a technically engaging position.

Your role

As Cadmatic Hull Designer, you are responsible for translating design intent into detailed hull models and drawings that can be used directly in production. You are involved throughout the engineering phase and support the yard when questions arise during construction.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop, update, and maintain 3D hull models using Cadmatic Hull
  • Produce arrangement plans, sections, and detailed construction drawings for the hull
  • Coordinate with structural, outfitting, and other engineering disciplines to ensure proper integration
  • Ensure all designs comply with class society rules and shipyard standards
  • Support production during the build phase and help resolve technical or construction-related issues

Profile What you bring

  • Proven experience as a Hull Designer working with Cadmatic
  • Hands-on experience with superyacht projects (this is a strict requirement)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a comparable technical field
  • Good knowledge of class regulations and yacht shipyard practices
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written
