Senior HMI Designer

Dear Candidates,

We are hiring for a Senior HMI Designer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for our Automotive client.

Looking for HMI Design specialists who are ready to be on-site with the client in Saudi Arabia regularly.

Exp: 5+ years

Location: Riyadh, Onsite WFO

Candidate Current Location: Riyadh or Egypt (Egyptians interested for relocation to Riyadh are welcome)

Skills Required: Automotive Domain Exp only, HMI Design

Role:

• Experience in Automotive area
• Extensive experience in HMI design with full-cycle HMI design experience for mass-production vehicles
• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in design
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Strong communication skills and collaboration mindset with the project team, internal and external stakeholders
• Significant experience designing and delivering world-class digital experiences
• Expert in designing experiences for mobile and desktop
• Experience with generative and evaluative research methods
• Deep understanding of fundamental visual and interactive design disciplines and principles
• A human-centric design approach that involves rapid testing and iteration of designs
• Strong portfolio that shows the design process and results
• Solid time management and prioritization skills to handle schedules in a fast-paced, multi-project environment
• Confidently skilled in task and requirements analysis, effort estimation

Nice to have:

• Experience validating design solutions according to WCAG guidelines with and without users
• Relevant IT or Design education, courses, and/or certifications

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other stakeholders
• Advocate for users in the solutions you create and present
• Conduct user research and synthesize insights to inform design decisions
• Design web and mobile solutions from the concept to implementation
• Effectively communicate complex ideas, whether on paper, digitally, or face to face
• Plan and facilitate online/offline workshops with stakeholders and the project team
• Design the interaction with the interface and validate solutions with and without users
• Reuse, design, and maintain Design Systems and UI kits
• Design with Accessibility principles championing human needs
• Competently present solutions for the stakeholders and the project team
• Work on-site in Saudi Arabia periodically and collaborate closely with the customer’s HMI team
