Job Description

Company: Our client is an industrial IoT startup founded in Hamburg in 2015. They help manufacturing companies achieve their digital goals in the most efficient way. Current clients are big and small production companies from the Automotive, Medical, and Food sectors. You will have the chance to work closely with incredible experts in a rapidly growing niche.


Location: Hamburg, Germany.

Type of contract: Permanent position. Hybrid or remote.

Recruitment process: There are four stages: a call with the HR, a meeting with the hiring manager, a challenge (Choice of Take Home, Life Assessment), final interview.


About the role

At the moment they are growing the Department and are seeking a Customer Success Engineer, a customer-facing professional who encounters complexity with striking simplicity on the topics IT infrastructure, shop floor and end-user applications.


Responsibilities

  • Technical onboarding of customers and partners
  • Consult and provide hand-on support on IT/OT integration topics, IIoT infrastructure, Architecture, IT security, IIoT use cases and operating Connectware
  • Implementation of industrial data infrastructure with Connectware
  • Implementation of scalable infrastructure as code deployments
  • Troubleshoot complex customer issues in collaboration with Support and Engineering
  • Technical Product Support


The candidate must have:


  • Basic programming skills (concepts, APIs, programming languages)
  • Basics of DevOps Tools and Methodologies (e.g. Git, GitOps, CI/CD Pipelines, Ansible, Argo CD)
  • Experience with system administration (e.g. Linux, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience with network administration (e.g. architecture, infrastructure, troubleshooting, OSI model)
  • Fluency in German and English
