About The Role
Blacksmith Agency is seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to lead and execute comprehensive organic search strategies across multiple client accounts and the agency’s own website. This pivotal role involves driving traffic growth, enhancing search engine rankings, and translating complex performance data into actionable insights. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams—including developers, designers, and strategists—to ensure SEO best practices are seamlessly integrated into all stages of website development and campaign execution. The SEO Specialist will manage end-to-end SEO initiatives, conduct detailed audits, optimize website content, and monitor performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement. Qualifications
- 10+ years of hands-on SEO experience, preferably within an agency environment managing multiple clients
- Proven track record of delivering measurable growth through SEO strategies supported by first-party data
- Strong proficiency with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Search Console, including report setup and data interpretation
- Experience managing SEO across diverse industries with direct implementation of metadata, schema markup, redirects, and internal linking
- Expertise in conducting keyword research and mapping SEO strategies to business objectives such as traffic and lead generation
- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers to resolve technical issues like indexing, redirects, and page speed optimization
- Excellent project management skills, capable of juggling multiple client projects and meeting deadlines
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical insights into clear, actionable recommendations for clients and internal teams
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and digital PR strategies

- Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies for multiple clients, encompassing technical, on-page, and off-page efforts
- Perform in-depth SEO audits, competitive analyses, and keyword opportunity assessments
