SQL Developer - Contract - £250-300 per day - Outside of IR35 | £250 - £255
We're working with a leading London-based data consultancy specializing in high-volume information management on this exciting opportunity. We are seeking a heavy-hitting SQL expert to solve complex data ingestion challenges for a high-traffic environment.
This is a high-impact role where you will be tasked with optimizing a critical pipeline responsible for importing over 400 deep-data files daily with zero latency. You will leverage the full MSBI stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) and T-SQL to ensure seamless data flow and reporting accuracy.
The Role
- Architect and optimize high-performance ETL pipelines to ingest 400+ files daily from diverse sources without delays.
- Take full ownership of SQL scripting, writing complex stored procedures from scratch to automate data processing.
- Design, tune, and maintain existing ETL processes to improve efficiency and system reliability.
- Build and deliver sophisticated analytical reports to provide stakeholders with actionable business intelligence.
- Collaborate on the migration and integration of data within the Azure Data Platform ecosystem.

- Mastery of the MSBI Stack, including expert-level SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, and T-SQL development skills.
- Proven experience developing robust ETL pipelines and writing complex stored procedures from a blank slate.
- Strong technical familiarity with the Azure Data Platform, specifically Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse.
