Key Responsibilities
Review architectural drawings and specifications to extract quantities and define project scope.
Perform detailed material takeoffs for glazing systems, metal frames, façade assemblies, and related components.
Prepare cost estimates and preliminary budgets to support estimation teams during the bidding stage.
Analyze project specifications, drawings, and clarifications to ensure accurate scope coverage.
Collaborate with estimation teams to align assumptions, risks, and project requirements.
Assist in preparing RFIs, clarifications, and documentation required during early project phases.
Develop and maintain organized estimation files, spreadsheets, and support documentation.
Support continuous improvement by identifying patterns, discrepancies, and opportunities for process optimization.
Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to internal quality standards across all deliverables.
Proactively seek clarifications from clients, suppliers, or designers to ensure accurate and complete estimates.
Anticipate resource, material, and scheduling needs to support smooth project planning.

Job Description


We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Estimator to join our expanding international team. The ideal candidate will support the preparation of technical quantity takeoffs, cost analyses, and preliminary budgets for glazing projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret technical drawings, and proficiency in tools such as Excel and (preferably) Bluebeam. Candidates should be able to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple countries. This position offers significant growth potential within a dynamic, technical and globally connected environment. 100% remote. All projects are in the US


Key Responsibilities

  • Review architectural drawings and specifications to extract quantities and define project scope.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field, or an advanced student.
  • Intermediate/advanced English proficiency (required). • Strong command of Microsoft Excel (required).
  • Experience using AutoCAD for technical drawing review (highly desirable).
  • Experience using Bluebeam for markup and takeoffs (preferred).
  • Previous experience in quantity takeoffs or cost estimation (preferred but not required).
  • Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
  • Proven ability to take initiative in gathering data, seeking clarification, and driving tasks to completion. Track record of self-directed follow-up with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams. 



Preferred Skills
