Senior Technical Project Manager

Robert Half's client is looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager with experience driving projects to timely completion within operational and technical environments. This will be an ongoing contract with a high likelihood of extending multiple years. This role is 100% Remote. In this role, you will join a highly technical team and lead efforts to stabilize delivery cadence, optimize planning and coordination, and improve reporting frameworks for SLAs, KPIs, and delivery metrics.

Responsibilities:

• Own end-to-end project delivery: requirements gathering, task scoping, timeline management, and sprint execution.
• Build and maintain reporting dashboards and manage backlog health, estimates, and burndown.
• Bridge communication between technical teams and business stakeholders; deliver clear, actionable status reports and risk mitigation plans.
• Champion process discipline, structured standups, robust planning, and documentation to reduce rework and management overhead.
• Leverage Azure DevOps (or similar tools) for queries, sprint management, and reporting.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years’ direct experience managing project delivery, not just reporting or strategy.
• Strong experience with Agile Methodology.
• Strong operational background; adept at understanding technical workflows and translating them for broader audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement, increase execution discipline, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Competence in building and managing dashboards, reports, and delivery metrics.

• Power BI and Kusto Query Language (KQL) for multi-source reporting.
• Must have advanced proficiency with Kusto Query Language (KQL).

The salary range for this position is $60.00 to $80.00/hr. Benefits available to contract/temporary professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
