Role Overview

We’re looking for a Freelance Designer to become a creative partner to the team, helping shape how Syllotips shows up across touchpoints.

This is not execution-only work: we are looking for someone who understands how to make complex ideas clear, credible, and visually distinctive.

You will work across social, web, campaigns, and events, translating our positioning into strong visual assets.

Motion and video are becoming increasingly central to how we communicate, so the ability to bring assets to life (also using the latest AI tools) is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Design social media content: posts, carousels, and thought leadership visuals

• Create and iterate on website assets: landing pages, feature visuals, UI elements
• Develop campaign visuals for product launches and demand generation
• Produce event materials: booth assets, presentations, and branded collateral
• Ensure visual consistency across all touchpoints while evolving the brand identity
• Collaborate with the Growth & Marketing team on briefs, iterations, and feedback
• (Plus) Create motion/video assets: short-form video, animations, product visuals

Required Experience and Skills

• Experience designing for B2B brands—you understand clarity, credibility, and audience expectations
• Strong portfolio across social, web, and campaign design (SaaS or tech is a plus)
• Ability to maintain and extend a visual identity across formats and channels
• Comfortable working in fast-moving startup environments
• Strong taste and judgment—knowing when to simplify, when to emphasize, and when to push creatively
• Familiarity with AI-powered design tools
• Fluent Italian; English C1+

• Experience working closely with Marketing or Growth teams

Interview Process

• Discovery Interview (30 min): conversation about your background, portfolio, and past design experience
• Portfolio Review & Case Study (45 min): walkthrough of previous work plus a short design challenge
• Final Interview (45 min): conversation focused on mutual fit, ways of working, and potential collaboration scope

What We Offer

• Compensation: Starting from €2,500/month for a 25+ hours/week engagement, depending on experience and scope
• Engagement type: Freelance / contractor
• Time commitment: Minimum 25 hours per week
• Collaboration: Regular participation in Growth & Marketing team calls and strategic planning sessions
• Location: Fully remote
