We are currently hiring a Full-Stack Software Engineer to join a distributed product team building a modern Education member-management platform used by administrators, instructors, and students.
This is a full-time remote role designed for engineers who thrive in collaborative, distributed teams and enjoy building products used by real communities.
The Product You’ll Help Build
You will contribute to the development of a member-management platform for education programs used within the fitness and wellness ecosystem.
The platform includes:
- A web portal for administrators and instructors
- A mobile experience for members and students
- Integrations with CRM systems and payment platforms
You’ll work closely with a Tech Lead and cross-functional product team, owning features end-to-end—from technical discovery through deployment and iteration.
What You’ll Do
As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will work across front-end, back-end, and cloud infrastructure to deliver a reliable and scalable product.
Core Responsibilities
- Build and maintain front-end components using React
- Develop backend services and APIs using Node.js
- Design and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs
- Work with relational and non-relational databases
- Implement Express-based backend services
- Integrate third-party services including CRM and payment systems
- Ensure applications are responsive and cross-platform friendly
- Collaborate with designers to implement clean, user-friendly interfaces
- Build accessible interfaces aligned with modern accessibility standards
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies and agile delivery
- Contribute through code reviews and pull requests via GitHub
- Apply secure development practices and follow industry security standards
- Use GenAI tools responsibly to accelerate development and testing workflows
- Support the product lifecycle from design to production deployment

Required Qualifications
- Fluent written and spoken English
- 2+ years of experience with React building production web applications
- 2+ years of experience with Node.js
- Strong experience with TypeScript
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript
- Experience building RESTful APIs using Express
- Experience working with GraphQL
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and services
- Hands-on experience with relational and non-relational databases
- Strong collaboration using GitHub workflows
- Experience working in Scrum / Agile environments
- Understanding of server-side rendering concepts
- Knowledge of secure development practices
- Hands-on experience deploying and supporting applications in AWS
Nice to Have
- Experience with Next.js
- Experience working with headless CMS platforms (e.g., Strapi)
- Exposure to Azure or Google Cloud
- Experience building mobile-friendly web applications
