Pay Rate: 57 to 67 CAD per hour

Role Summary: We are hiring for Senior Data Analyst, where the selected candidate will work on data-driven initiatives supporting a global product platform. You’ll analyze complex datasets, uncover insights, and help teams make informed decisions that improve performance, user engagement, and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with product managers and cross-functional teams to identify business problems and opportunities using data 

• Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover actionable insights that support decision-making 

• Monitor KPIs and OKRs across platform initiatives and share regular insights with stakeholders 

• Work closely with product, engineering, and business teams to understand data needs and provide analytical support 

• Build clear and impactful dashboards using tools like Power BI and Looker 

• Communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders 

• Explore data proactively to identify trends related to performance, user engagement, and business impact 

• Develop data models and apply statistical techniques to forecast trends and support predictive analytics 

• Ensure data quality by maintaining accuracy, consistency, and integrity across datasets 

• Identify and resolve data discrepancies and improve data processes 

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience working with SQL for data querying and manipulation 

• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Looker 

• Experience working with data warehouse and ELT tools such as Snowflake, Airflow, or dbt 

• Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and modeling 

• Solid understanding of statistical analysis and data modeling techniques 

• Experience working with large datasets in a technology or SaaS environment 

• Ability to clearly communicate data insights and their business impact 

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience working in a SaaS company or platform-based environment 

• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure 

• Exposure to product analytics and user behavior analysis 

• Awareness of tools or platforms used in large-scale product ecosystems 

Certifications:

• Relevant certifications in Data Analytics, Cloud Platforms, or BI tools are a plus.
