The Role

Operating independently from development teams, you’ll ensure that all software lifecycle activities, outputs, and documentation comply with approved plans, internal standards, and certification requirements.

You’ll lead audits, reviews, and compliance activities across the lifecycle, helping ensure software is safe, traceable, and ready for regulatory approval in a highly complex aerospace environment.

What You’ll Do

• Assess and monitor software lifecycle processes against DO-178C and internal standards.
• Conduct audits and reviews of development, verification, and lifecycle data.
• Ensure compliance of requirements, design, code, and verification artifacts.
• Oversee configuration management and change control processes.
• Support internal and external certification audits and regulatory assessments.
• Identify compliance gaps and drive corrective actions to improve quality and readiness.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in software QA, process assurance, or certification compliance.
• Strong working knowledge of DO-178C and related standards (DO-331, DO-330, ARP4754A, etc.).
• Experience in aerospace or avionics
• Familiarity with configuration management, traceability, and tools (e.g., Jira, Polarion, Git).
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent documentation and communication skills.
