Title: Specialist, SysOps

Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose:

  • As the SysOps Specialist, you are responsible for day-to-day system operations, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of infrastructure across on‑premise and cloud environments for our 500+ Brandsites. Collaborates with development and DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines. Continuously improves reliability, observability, and operational runbooks, while adhering to compliance, security, and documentation standards to support stable, scalable, and resilient services.

Responsibilities :

Understand and apply information technology standards to daily support and project implementation activities.

  • Hands on expertise in AWS - EC2, S3, Cloudfront, Elastic Beanstalk, ACM, IAM, Lambda, API Gateway, Cloudwatch, VPC
  • Experience in CDN (Akamai), OS Patching, Certificate renewals, Log Monitoring
  • Contribute to infrastructure architecture, including security (e.g., penetration test readiness), scalability, resilience, and observability best practices.
  • Design and automate CI/CD stack, cloud infrastructure
  • Implement and maintain robust monitoring and log management solutions, proactively identifying and resolving issues in production and non‑production environments
  • Work with developers and release management to design and implement delivery pipelines
  • Participate in architecture design and implementation of infrastructure monitoring, security, and scaling solutions

Required Qualifications :

  • Over all 3+ years of IT experience and min 2 years as SysOps
  • Expertise in AWS & GCP environment
  • Familiar with CDN (Akamai), OS Patching, Certificate renewals, Log Monitoring
  • Experience in network, server, and application-status monitoring

Preferred Qualifications (3-5 bullet points):

  • Familiar with AEM stack - Cloud Manager / Dispatcher
  • Certification in Sysops is preferable
  • Knowledge on container based framework - Kubernetes, developing manifests and creating docker images\
  • Experience working on Agile/SCRUM development teams
