Senior Software Engineer - Blockchain and Distributed Systems

Senior Software Engineer, $200k-$250k base, Blockchain, Remote, MEV, DEXs, or on-chain execution system, Golang or Rust, Trading, Solver

We’re working with a well-funded, fast-growing team building next-generation infrastructure for cross-chain execution, enabling AI agents, financial applications, and services to transact seamlessly across blockchain networks.

They’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help design and build the core solver network, the engine responsible for pricing, routing, and executing transactions in a highly competitive, real-time environment.

This is a deeply technical role sitting at the intersection of distributed systems, trading-style infrastructure, and crypto.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing and building solver systems that compete to execute transactions across chains

• Developing execution strategies, pricing logic, and quote aggregation systems

• Optimising low-latency, high-performance services handling real-time workloads

• Building resilient, scalable infrastructure across multiple chains and liquidity sources

• Working closely with protocol and research teams to evolve system architecture

What they’re looking for

• Strong backend or systems engineering experience (Go, Rust, C++, Java or similar)

• Experience building low-latency or high-throughput systems (trading, infra, distributed systems)

• Solid understanding of system design, performance optimisation, and scalability

• Exposure to crypto, DeFi, or financial systems is highly beneficial

• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, early-stage environments

Nice to have

• Experience with MEV, DEXs, or on-chain execution systems

• Background in trading systems, pricing engines, or auction-based environments

• Familiarity with cross-chain architectures and liquidity aggregation

• Fully remote

• High ownership, 0→1 environment with strong technical challenges
