Job Description
Our Agency client is seeking a temprary Creative Director to join their team 40 hrs/week for the next 3-6 weeks. This is a remote role where a computer will be provided.
This Creative Director will lead visual direction and execution across shopper marketing, e-commerce, and digital shelf (amazon, walmart). This role will own concept development through production, optimize product detail pages (PDPs) and online creative for conversion, and ensure consistent, high-quality brand experiences across channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead creative strategy and direction for cross-channel campaigns including shopper marketing, digital shelf content (amazon, walmart), PDPs, and more.
- Design and optimize product detail pages (PDPs), templates, and assets to improve user experience and conversion rates on ecomm platforms.
- Collaborate closely with brand managers, content strategists, UX designers, and marketing teams to align creative with business objectives and KPIs.
- Manage multiple projects and timelines, prioritize deliverables, and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to meet launch dates.
- Provide mentorship, feedback, and creative leadership to junior designers and contractors, fostering a collaborative design culture.
- Ensure creative work is optimized for performance across channels by using A/B testing insights, analytics, and shopper behavior data.
- Oversee quality control of layouts, copy placement, image treatments, and pre-press specifications to ensure production readiness.
- Present concepts and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback while maintaining strong design integrity and commercial focus.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience in creative direction, preferrably in an agency setting supporting CPG brands.
- A portfolio showcasing shopper marketing, campaigns, and e-commerce work.
- Proven experience designing and optimizing PDPs and other commerce-focused pages with measurable impact on conversion.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and familiarity with Figma or Sketch for prototyping and collaboration.
- Hands-on experience producing creative for 3rd party ecomm platforms (Amazon, Walmart) and understanding of responsive design constraints.
- Solid background in shopper marketing and retail campaigns, including POS, pack, and in-store asset development.
- Strong understanding of digital production processes, file preparation, asset management, and vendor coordination.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, and deliver high-quality creative under tight timelines.
- Experience using analytics, A/B testing, or conversion data to inform and iterate on creative decisions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and typography.
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Advertising, Visual Communication, or equivalent professional experience.
