This role leads the strategic vision and operational execution of federal healthcare IT initiatives, driving growth and innovation across complex government healthcare environments. The Director will shape solutions that advance interoperability, digital care delivery, secure enterprise systems, and analytics capabilities for federal health agencies. Acting as both a strategic leader and operational overseer, this position will influence pipeline development, customer relationships, and solution delivery, ensuring alignment with agency missions. The role requires collaboration across growth, solution, and delivery teams while maintaining strong executive presence with federal stakeholders. Success in this position is measured by business growth, high-quality solution delivery, and the ability to improve healthcare outcomes through technology. This is a fully remote position within the United States.

Accountabilities

• Define and execute the federal healthcare IT strategy, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and agency missions.
• Lead domain growth initiatives, including pipeline development, opportunity shaping, and market positioning in federal healthcare IT modernization.
• Oversee solution delivery, ensuring programs meet quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction standards.
• Engage with federal healthcare executives and stakeholders to understand mission requirements, operational priorities, and technology adoption challenges.
• Provide executive oversight across key IT focus areas such as EHR modernization, data analytics platforms, digital health solutions, cloud modernization, and cybersecurity compliance.
• Monitor market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities and maintain domain leadership.
• Collaborate with growth and capture teams to support proposal development, win strategies, and customer engagement.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, healthcare administration, engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• 20+ years of professional experience, including 10+ years in federal operations and 5+ years in growth or business development roles within federal healthcare IT.
• Executive leadership experience managing complex healthcare IT programs, teams, and initiatives.
• Deep understanding of federal healthcare agencies, acquisition processes, and IT modernization frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of EHR systems, interoperable health data platforms, cloud and DevSecOps practices, and enterprise healthcare IT solutions.
• Proven ability to cultivate executive-level relationships, influence cross-functional teams, and drive strategic initiatives.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• U.S. citizenship with the ability to pass a Tier 2/Modest Background Investigation.
