SENIOR IT MANAGER, SUPPLY CHAIN

YOUR ROLE
The Senior IT Manager of Supply Chain serves as the primary owner of IT demand and technology enablement. The right candidate will bring a strong background in Supply Chain solutions primarily, as well as other functional areas. He/she will be highly motivated and hands-on with an owner-operator mindset and a passion for driving measurable results.
You will partner closely with business leaders to shape and influence end-to-end business processes, driving step-change improvements in IT capabilities. In addition, you will own and actively manage relationships with Process Leads and project owners, ensuring clear accountability, prioritization, and delivery. Working in close collaboration with IT program managers, architects, and portfolio planners, you will set strategic direction and execution priorities, translate business objectives into defined deliverables and KPIs, and maintain end-to-end ownership of the portfolio. You will jointly establish and commit to IT deliverables within the Budget Business Plan (BBP) to support aligned corporate objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop collaborative working relationships with Process owners and leaders to influence end to end business processes and enable digital transformation for IT capabilities and efficiencies.
- Develop a service view of the Supply Chain tower including roadmaps and plans or consolidating and streamlining the applications within this portfolio while identifying efficiencies to streamline the end to end complexity.
- Oversee Portfolio Planning and Management: Lead the top-down and bottom-up effort to create a business-IT aligned portfolio of IT initiatives with cost estimates and quantifiable business benefits for the Supply Chain function and related functions.
- Prepare Business Case Development: develop an astute understanding of the drivers of revenue, cost, and risk for the functions and leverage that to construct the business case jointly with business leaders and Supply Chain and other functions.
- Drive solution selection and implementation for assigned business systems. Support the RFI, RFP, sourcing, and negotiation of applicable enterprise license agreements and IT contracts as required.
- Oversee Project Execution and Delivery: lead the planning and execution of IT projects to ensure execution to scope, budget (capital and expense), business need dates and attainment of objectives in scope within the Supply Chain function and related functions.
- Ensure Compliance Management: Providing technical oversight to ensure that actions taken by project teams are consistent with application direction, IT architecture and standards, IT security guidelines, project management process to ensure the best long-term total cost of ownership.
- Own IT Cost Management and Transparency: manage Corporate business and IT portfolio and related operating costs within target. Accountable to track consumption of services to ensure optimal allocation of IT resources and service levels. Find creative alternatives to ensure optimal service levels and end-user experience at minimal cost.
- Manage Reporting and Communications: keep business leaders and stakeholders as well as IT leaders informed on progress or projects, issues, risks, financials to ensure transparency, business input and collaborative decision making.
- Utilize Benchmarking Industry Best Practices: maintain awareness of current and future direction of industry peers, and where appropriate, make recommendations for new systems and technologies.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in the field of Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related discipline.
- Minimum of ten years of IT/shared services/process optimization experience in medium-large automotive, manufacturing, industrials, electronics, consulting and/or systems integration firms with recent experience as an IT leader in a business facing, global and/or cross-functional role.
- Experience in IT functional domain along with demonstrated Business process expertise in providing IT solutions and services for Supply Chain or related for a large multi-national company.
- Demonstrated track record of superior business engagement and influencing business leaders through use of business facing skills to accept and adopt creative win-win negotiations that drive optimal outcomes for business and IT.
- Experience and depth in IT applications involving ERP, On-Premise Applications, SaaS, Robotics Process Automation (RPA), Machine learning, Enterprise Data Warehouse, B2B Functional Portals.
- Have a strong track record of good collaboration, service orientation and business value delivery; operating successfully in a matrixed IT environment; and building collaborative working with supplier resources in an outsourced IT model.
- Experience spanning business relationship management, project planning and execution, deployments, IT strategy and roadmap development, IT cost ownership drivers, IT sourcing and IT license management and enterprise license agreements.
- Experience with Systems Development Lifecycle, ITIL, IT infrastructure services, IT Audit and Compliance Management
- Ability to work on site at Troy, Michigan
- Must be legally able to work in the United States without requirement of any type of visa sponsorship or transfer now, or at any time in the future
