Tasks

Exterior Design & Styling

  • Contribute to concept and basic design phases within refit projects
  • Translate initial ideas or basic sketches into well-balanced exterior proposals

3D Modelling & Engineering Integration

  • Model exterior components in Rhino or NX
  • Ensure designs are technically feasible and matches with naval architecture, weight, and class requirements
  • Work closely with engineering and production teams

Job requirements

  • Degree in Naval Architecture, Yacht Design, or Marine Engineering
  • 2-10 years of relevant experience in the yacht or superyacht industry
  • Strong 3D modeling skills (Rhino and/or NX preferred)
  • High-level rendering skills and a creative mindset
  • Ability to justify and communicate design decisions clearly
  • Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and exterior detailing
  • Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written)
  • Adaptability, analytical skills, creativity, empathy, and flexibility
  • Willingness to receive and act on feedback
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
  • Based in Germany or open to relocation

Conditions

  • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
  • 32 paid vacation days annually (for full-time employment).
  • Support with relocation, visa applications, and housing arrangements.
  • Eligibility for the 30% tax ruling for expatriates in the Netherlands.
  • Reimbursement of commuting costs.
