Full Stack Developer (Contract) - Data Ingestion and Affiliate Tracking

Through an innovative proprietary dashboard, Vault empowers affiliates with real-time click, conversion, and commission tracking to optimize campaign performance.

Role Description

This is a contract-based and fully remote Full Stack Developer role. This is primarily a development role; the majority of your time will be writing code, but it is genuinely collaborative. You will work closely with the team on planning, problem-solving, and responding to issues as they come up. Salary

This role will start as a 1099 Contractor role, with the potential to move into a W2 role in the future.

Salary range: $50,000 - $75,000

What You Will Be Building

Your primary focus is data ingestion — pipelines that pull data from external sources and store it reliably in our database. Sources include websites, APIs, webhooks, and email attachments. You will own this end-to-end: schema design, ingestion logic, error handling, and monitoring.

That data powers our internal analytics dashboard, which is already built. Your responsibility is to ensure it is always fed accurately and reliably.

As the role grows, you will take on:

• Building or integrating a link cloaker for affiliate tracking
• Developing a postback service for affiliate partners
• Improving our existing affiliate-facing API
• Maintaining and improving the internal dashboard
• Continuous system upgrades and improvements across the stack

A Typical Week

The majority of your time will be development — building pipelines, fixing bugs, improving systems, designing schemas, and shipping features to the internal dashboard. Beyond that, you will collaborate with the team on planning and priorities, and jump in on Slack when issues arise or decisions need to be made together.

Qualifications

• Solid backend and frontend development experience
• Experience building web scrapers and integrating with external APIs
• Strong SQL skills — schema design, querying, and optimization
• Comfortable deploying and maintaining systems in a cloud environment
• Self-directed — you take ownership, follow through, and flag issues proactively
• Clear and responsive communicator over Slack, email, and text
