As a Data Engineer, you will:
- Design, create, and maintain scalable data pipelines
- Build and optimise database schemas, tables, and cloud‑native workflows
- Develop reliable ETL/ELT processes
- Write and tune high-performance SQL across production systems
- Transform and model data for analytics, reporting, and finance
- Work closely with BI, Finance, and Engineering teams
- Own deliverables end‑to‑end in a fast‑moving fintech environment

We are looking for someone with 1–3 years of hands-on experience who can demonstrate:
- Solid database engineering experience:
- Designing schemas
- Creating databases and tables
- Building database objects — not just querying
- Advanced SQL, ideally on Oracle or PostgreSQL
- Complex queries
- Optimisation and performance tuning
- Financial‑grade precision (8–10 decimal points)
- At least 1 year of Java programming experience
- Collections, streams, filters
- Groovy experience is a bonus
- Experience building and maintaining production data pipelines
- Familiarity with orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Airbyte)
- Exposure to SOAP/REST APIs and cloud object storage (S3, Blob, Oracle Bucket)
- Experience with modern cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift) & DBT

- Oracle systems or cloud experience
