Role Overview

We are looking for a Systems Engineer (Windows & Linux) to integrate one of our Nearshore Teams that work remotely for international clients accross The Netherlands and other European countries.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team working across multiple concurrent projects, contributing to the design, operation, and continuous improvement of highly available infrastructures that support critical services and modern digital platforms, both on‑premises and in the cloud.

This role offers exposure to a wide technological landscape, combining infrastructure, automation, container platforms, and operational excellence, while working closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You can choose whether you want to work fully remotely or onsite from our offices in Lisbon or Porto.

What you will do

• Maintain, operate, and continuously improve Windows Server (2016+) and Linux environments in hybrid infrastructures;
• Design, deploy, and manage containerized platforms and new landing zones using modern cloud and orchestration technologies;
• Support and operate environments with SCADA and OT-related applications, ensuring stability, security, and performance;
• Manage and maintain Citrix environments, including image processes and application packaging;
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and configuration management tools;
• Work with OpenShift, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and YAML-based automation (Ansible/Puppet);
• Set up, configure, and maintain monitoring and observability solutions (Zabbix, ELK / Kibana).

What you are like

• Proficient in Windows Server administration and Linux system troubleshooting;
• Experienced with container technologies and enterprise-grade platform engineering;
• Comfortable working in hybrid environments (on‑premises and Azure cloud);
• Skilled in scripting and automation, particularly with PowerShell and YAML-based tools;
• Knowledgeable in monitoring, logging, and observability stacks such as Zabbix and ELK;
• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and modern DevOps practices;
• Strong communicator in English - as you will be collaborating daily with international teams.
