Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and manage infrastructure in AWS and on-prem environments (Linux/Windows)
Create and manage EC2 instances, S3 buckets, Lambda functions, APIs, and related AWS services
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other tools
Configure and manage Apache and Nginx web servers
Build and manage Docker containers and containerized applications
Automate processes using scripting (Bash, Python) and Infrastructure as Code tools
Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning
Analyze system trends and provide statistical reporting
Troubleshoot complex system and application issues and coordinate with vendors
Prepare and implement change management plans
Participate in on-call rotation and incident resolution
Recommend improvements in system architecture, security, and performance
Collaborate with network engineering on load balancing, firewall rules, and certificates
Support database systems (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Ensure compliance with information security policies and healthcare regulations
Create technical documentation and train/mentor junior team members

Pride Health is looking DTS Systems Engineer to support our client’s medical facility which is 100% remote


Job Type: DTS Systems Engineer

Duration: 52 weeks Contract with possibility of extension

Location: 100% remote

Rate: $40 to $45/hr on W2


Job Summary

The Systems Engineer II is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure solutions across cloud and on-premises environments. This role supports DevOps initiatives, automate deployments, and ensures system performance, reliability, and security. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to build, optimize, and support complex applications and infrastructure systems.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage infrastructure in AWS and on-prem environments (Linux/Windows)
  • Create and manage EC2 instances, S3 buckets, Lambda functions, APIs, and related AWS services
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and other tools

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering / DevOps
  • Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Hands-on expertise in:
  • EC2, S3, Lambda, APIs
  • Docker containers and container orchestration
  • Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines)
  • Apache & Nginx web servers
  • Experience with Linux system administration (Windows is a plus)
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools:
  • Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or Puppet
  • Experience with version control tools (Git, Bitbucket, Stash)
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools:
  • Splunk, New Relic, AWS CloudWatch, MS SCOM
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Networking (Load balancing, firewalls, certificates)
  • System performance tuning and capacity planning
  • Experience with Agile tools:
  • Jira, ServiceNow, Redmine
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
