Salary: $275K – $300K base + competitive equity

Job Description:
Join a 40-person team that's fundamentally changing how enterprises make decisions. This company built an autonomous AI research platform trusted by Fortune 500 companies across tech, consumer, and retail. As a founding Member of Technical Staff focused on platform, you'll be a key technical decision-maker owning complex systems end-to-end: infrastructure, backend, and product UX. This is a seat at the table, not a seat in the queue.
Location: San Francisco, CA (3 days/week in-office) | Visa sponsorship available (O1, H1B transfer, H1B1)

What you will do:
- Lead the design and implementation of large, high-impact platform projects, and owning systems end-to-end across infrastructure, backend, and product UX
- Define the technical roadmap for major initiatives, make the hard architectural calls, and mentor the engineers around you to raise the quality bar across the org
- Build in TypeScript with either Python/Go (backend-leaning) or React/JS (frontend-leaning) depending on your tilt and ship fast in a lean, high-output environment
The ideal candidate:
- 9-12 years of full-stack engineering experience with proven end-to-end platform ownership at a high-growth startup or top-tier tech company. OR previous co-founder, VP Eng, or founding engineer experience strongly preferred
- CS degree from a top-25 US undergraduate program; deep expertise in TypeScript and either Python/Go or React/JS
- Clear communicator who can articulate tradeoffs without bureaucracy
- A builder who thrives at the 0→1 stage, loves mentoring other engineers, and has spent the majority of their career in early-stage, high-velocity environments not siloed big-tech orgs
