As a Systems Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the technical implementation and analysis of components for SIGINT systems. You will develop, document, and test these components based on established architectures and designs. Your work will contribute to modeling, simulation, integration, test, and analysis of signal processing systems, both in our lab and at customer facilities. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in software and hardware components.
Responsibilities
- Develop, document, and test components for SIGINT systems based on established architectures and designs.
- Contribute to modeling, simulation, integration, test, and analysis of signal processing systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in software and hardware components.
- Contribute to the development and management of system requirements within a Systems Engineering framework.
- Support technical trade studies by gathering data and performing analysis.
- Prepare technical documentation, including test plans, procedures, and design documents.
- Experience with software-defined radios (SDRs) and their application in SIGINT systems.
- Knowledge of wireless communications systems and protocols (e.g., AM, FM, BPSK, QPSK, QAM).
- Experience with modeling and simulation of signal processing algorithms.
- A strong understanding of electromagnetic fundamentals related to antennas and receiving systems.

- An active DoD SCI Security Clearance OR able to get one
- A master’s degree in engineering or computer science.
- Understanding of and experience with SIGINT direction-finding systems.
- Experience with machine learning in embedded (or 'edge') environments.
- A track record of leading R&D efforts that have resulted in fielded capabilities, publications, or demonstrations.
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering.
- Experience with electromagnetic simulation applications such as HFSS or FEKO.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $84.13/hr.
