Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group), a leading company in safety‑critical software for aerospace, defence and transport, is looking for IT Systems & Network Engineers to join our on‑site teams in Germany, working directly on Airbus IT, cybersecurity and infrastructure projects.
📍 Locations include Hamburg region, Baviera and other sites across the country.

What You Will Do
- Administer and support Windows/Linux systems, networks and Airbus on‑prem infrastructures.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, routing, switching, and cybersecurity controls.
- Support the implementation of Airbus and BSI/CERT security standards.
- Participate in DevOps‑related tasks (automation, deployments, CI/CD support).
- Automate tasks using PowerShell, Bash or Python.
- Collaborate with Airbus teams, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Provide technical support, troubleshooting and documentation for operational environments.

- Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Telecommunications, or similar
- Experience in systems and network administration
- Knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals (Airbus/BSI guidelines are a plus)
- Exposure to DevOps tools or automation
- Experience with monitoring tools.
- Willingness to work in rotating schedules and occasional travel.
- C1 English mandatory.
- German C1 (a plus).
- Applicants must hold EU citizenship.
