Job Title: Workday HR Data Analyst (Contract)
Location: Fully Remote (Preference for EST time zone)
Duration: 5-Month Contract (Potential Extension)
Pay Rate: $50–$55/hour (W2)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Workday HR Data Analyst to support HR operations by ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of employee data within the HRIS system. This role focuses on managing employee data updates, resolving data issues, and supporting reporting and audit activities in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee job data in Workday, ensuring accuracy and data integrity
- Research, analyze, and resolve employee data discrepancies and errors
- Process job changes, terminations, and other employee lifecycle updates
- Perform mass data updates and data corrections using established processes
- Run reports, queries, and audits to support compliance and business needs
- Review and approve data change requests in accordance with HR policies and procedures
- Respond to and resolve escalated HR data cases in a timely manner
- Conduct data validation checks to ensure accuracy across systems
- Support reporting needs and provide data insights to internal stakeholders

Required Qualifications
- 1–5 years of experience in HR operations, HRIS, or HR data management
- Hands-on experience with Workday (HCM)
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality
- Ability to analyze issues and recommend solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a regulated or compliance-driven environment
- Familiarity with case management or ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Knowledge of HR processes such as onboarding, job changes, and terminations
- Exposure to audit support, reporting, or data validation processes
