Job Description
We are looking for a Mid-Level Business Analyst to support initiatives across Accident, Health, and Life insurance products for the U.S. and Canada markets. This role works closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to gather and manage requirements, supporting functional solutions across individual and group insurance domains.
The position operates in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and validate business requirements (BRDs, user stories, workflows).
- Translate business needs into clear functional requirements for IT teams.
- Collaborate with business SMEs, developers, and QA to ensure solution alignment.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including backlog grooming, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
- Support UAT activities, including test case review, execution support, and defect resolution.
- Assist with change management, user documentation, and training as required.

Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within insurance, healthcare, or financial services.
- Experience with Accident, Health, and Life insurance products (individual and group).
- Knowledge of policy administration, claims, billing, or underwriting processes.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both business and technical teams.
- Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Visio (or similar documentation/modeling tools).
