About The Role

As part of the Technology & Operations team, the Web Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining cutting-edge web applications that support the company's operational and business objectives. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, operations, and logistics staff, to create seamless, efficient, and innovative digital solutions. The Web Developer will play a vital role in enhancing existing systems and pioneering new functionalities to improve overall operational efficiency and customer experience. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a technically skilled professional to contribute to a dynamic and growing organization, with potential relocation opportunities to Dubai or Oman after the initial probation period.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of hands-on full-stack web development experience, with a strong background in React, Laravel, React Native, HTML, CSS, and related JavaScript/PHP frameworks. Proficiency with databases and code versioning tools such as Git or SVN is essential, along with experience working with web servers like Apache or Nginx. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, though equivalent working experience will also be considered. Candidates should have a fundamental understanding of software development lifecycles, UI/UX best practices, and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or DigitalOcean, as well as system testing and automated testing, is advantageous. Additionally, knowledge of OCR frameworks and experience working in logistics or depot workflows will be considered a plus. Candidates must demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently and collaboratively, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, automate, and maintain web applications and services to support business and operational goals while adhering to performance and quality code best practices.
• Collaborate with team leads and members to identify requirements, define project scope, and ensure deadlines and objectives are met.
• Work closely with UI/UX teams to ensure consistency in design, usability, and user experience across all applications.
