This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr. Forward Deployment Engineer in Canada.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, data, and client-facing consulting, focused on designing and implementing advanced information governance solutions for complex, enterprise-scale environments. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, translating regulatory, security, and data governance requirements into scalable and efficient solutions. Accountabilities

  • Provide expert guidance and technical solutions in information governance across complex enterprise environments.
  • Design, develop, and implement governance frameworks, project plans, timelines, and budgets aligned with business and regulatory needs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Monitor project execution, ensuring delivery against milestones while proactively identifying and resolving risks or issues.
  • Produce regular reporting and executive updates on project status, performance, and governance outcomes.
  • Drive data security, compliance, and information protection initiatives across global teams and systems.
  • Foster strong collaboration across technical, legal, and operational stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
  • Continuously improve governance processes, workflows, and documentation standards for operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in information governance, data security, IT consulting, or a related technical field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline (Master’s preferred).
  • Strong expertise in information governance, regulatory compliance, and security governance frameworks.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects in global or enterprise environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience working across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate technical requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies, data protection principles, and enterprise security systems.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • Certifications such as CIGP or equivalent are a plus.
  • Strong collaboration mindset with the ability to influence and build trust across teams.
