Job Description โ Operations Technician (NOC)
Location: 100% Remote (Onshore US only)

Role Summary
Monitor and maintain management networks in a NOC environment. Open trouble tickets, drive equipment/facility repairs with field operations, and resolve connectivity issues. Troubleshoot telecom networks, follow MOPs, and communicate effectively with peers, providers, and customers using Microsoft Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain excellent alarm acknowledgment/response times and customer calls
- Document network failures and maintenance activities
- Analyze, diagnose, isolate, and resolve trouble situations
- Manage multiple trouble reports and restoration bridges/calls
- Support field technicians during outages/alarms
- Follow up and close trouble tickets
- Configure/test ports and IP assignments from connection requests
- Perform migration work during maintenance windows
- Troubleshoot central office connectivity (Ethernet, RS232, ISDN, X.25, Sync/Async)

- Cisco, Juniper, Nokia platforms
- Layer 2/3 switch/router configuration and troubleshooting
