Job Description


Semiconductor engineering and construction firm is seeking a Construction QA/QC Manager to spearhead quality assurance and control for large-scale, high-tech fabrication projects.


This is a critical leadership role overseeing complex piping systems (Stainless Steel, PVDF, PolyPro) and EIC (Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls) scopes.


Relocation support is provided for a qualified candidate.



🚀 Key Responsibilities

Lead Multi-Discipline Quality: Execute QA/QC processes for piping (UPW, gas, chemical) and Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls (EIC) systems.


Strategic Planning: Develop and implement project-specific Quality Management Plans (QMP) and Inspection/Test Plans (ITP).


Compliance & Standards: Ensure all installations meet ASME B31.3, SEMI standards, and NEC codes.


Subcontractor Management: Audit and monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring alignment with internal and client quality requirements.


Data-Driven Leadership: Maintain QA/QC dashboards tracking NCR volume, rework rates, and first-pass yield to drive continuous improvement.


Project Closeout: Support pre-commissioning walkdowns and manage high-purity turnover documentation.


🎯 Requirements

  • Experience: 7+ years in Construction QA/QC; minimum 3 years within Semiconductor or high-tech manufacturing environments.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of high-purity piping (Stainless Steel, PVDF, PolyPro) and IR fusion welding.


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent experience.


Standards: Strong familiarity with ASME, SEMI, and NEC codes.


Skills: Exceptional leadership, root cause analysis, and the ability to manage complex NDE/NDT activities.
