ABOUT THE ROLE

The company is seeking a highly skilled Recruiter to identify and secure exceptional talent across technical and business functions. This is not a high-volume recruiting position—success is defined by consistently hiring top-tier candidates in competitive and specialized domains.

You will manage the full recruiting lifecycle, from building candidate pipelines to closing offers, with a focus on proactive sourcing and relationship-building.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the end-to-end recruiting process, including sourcing, outreach, interview coordination, and offer negotiation across technical and go-to-market roles
  • Build high-quality candidate pipelines from the ground up, with an emphasis on engaging passive candidates
  • Develop targeted outbound sourcing strategies to identify and connect with highly selective talent
  • Represent the company effectively in all candidate interactions, ensuring a strong and consistent experience
  • Partner closely with founders and hiring managers to define role requirements and hiring criteria
  • Drive candidates through the process efficiently while maintaining a high bar for quality
  • Track pipeline performance and recruiting metrics using modern ATS tools, leveraging data to improve outcomes
  • Stay informed on trends in AI/ML and broader technical talent markets
  • Support the evolution of recruiting processes and employer branding as the company grows


QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6+ years of experience recruiting for AI/ML, software engineering, or similarly technical roles
  • Background working in fast-paced, early-stage environments where roles may evolve quickly
  • Demonstrated ability to build pipelines for hard-to-reach or highly competitive candidates
  • Strong judgment in evaluating technical talent and maintaining high hiring standards
  • Familiarity with modern recruiting tools (e.g., ATS platforms, sourcing tools, and AI-assisted workflows)
  • Ability to create a positive and lasting impression with candidates at all stages


NICE TO HAVE

  • Sufficient technical fluency to engage meaningfully with engineers and technical candidates
  • Experience in research-driven or deep tech environments
  • Established network of AI/ML or engineering talent
  • Experience helping build or scale recruiting functions at early-stage companies


LOCATION

This position is based in New York City and requires regular in-office presence 6 days/week. Candidates should be located in the area or open to relocating.
